Aftercare
Aftercare process starts as soon as your tattoo is done.

After your tattoo is finished - a thin layer of antibiotic ointment will be applied over the tattoo by your artist, and the tattooed area will be covered with a Derm Shield "second skin" sticker or plastic wrap. This covering provides a protective layer, preventing bacteria from getting into your skin. It also protects the tattoo from rubbing onto your clothes and getting irritated. Please keep the sticker on your skin for at least 3 to 4 days.
The First Week
After 3 to 4 days of having your sticker on - take it off while taking a warm (not hot) shower by gently peeling it off your skin in a direction on the tattoo - sliding it off the skin by pulling the lowest corner down. Please do so carefully, ask for an assistance of a friend or a family member if needed. After the removal of the sticker is handled follow directions below:
• With clean hands gently wash the tattoo with warm water and fragrance-free soap.
• Pat your skin dry with a soft clean cloth (paper towel).
• Apply and massage in a small amount of fragrance-free and alcohol-free moisturizer on the tattoo. (Ex.Eucerin intensive repair, Lubriderm).
Healing Process
Healing process is the best way to secure your tattoo quality for years to come. Please take it seriously.
For the first 2 weeks - wash your tattoo twice a day with unscented soap, apply a fragrance free moisturizer by gently massaging it into your skin with clean hands.
As tattoo begins to heal - you might experience itching of the skin and some mild irritation - please DO NOT scratch the tattoo. Pat it gently with a clean wet paper towel to ease up the itching once you wash your tattoo.
